  Ziatun is a nice cozy addition to the restaurants in Beacon, NY. It is small and fills up fast, but takeout is also available. We had Beef and Lamb Shawarma and Lamb Kabobs. They were both great and we really enjoyed the decor as well as the dinner music. Ziatun adds to the eclectic mix of Beacon cusine. It is really great to have so many different types of cuisine in one town.

  I got the lamb shawarma with rice and a salad, with an extra add-on of pita bread. Delicious! The meat was tender and juicy, the rice perfectly cooked, and the salad tangy and fresh. The bread wasn't warmed up and next time I'll see if they will do that. It's a byob restaurant as of now which I hadn't anticipated but a two minute walk up to the gas station on the corner fixed that very quickly. Last minute I added a small side of babaganoosh which had a delight smoky flavor. Fantastic!
